We were really impressed with our stay at Hoops Inn and Country Hotel. The Inn is situated near Bideford which makes it ideal for exploring the Southern Devon area.
Our room was very tastefully decorated with the room we had having a four poster bed. Facilities included a very modern bathroom, bathrobes and hairdryer. There was also complimentary bottled water, kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. All were spotlessly clean.
We had both dinner and breakfast while we were staying and were impressed at the variety of the menu and freshness of the food we had. There are a variety of dining areas including some in the garden (although it was too cold to sit out there while we were there)
For us the highlight were the staff, all were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They also have excellent local knowledge so can suggest some really interesting activities in the area.
We got a really good deal through booking.com for £60 per night for bed and breakfast but you can book directly on the Hoops Inn website here as they also have some good specials.
