A lovely 49 km drive north-west from Luxembourg city you will find Esch-Sur-Sure. The journey takes you though rolling hills and winding roads, perfect for riding.

It is a tiny town with steep winding roads best explored on foot. Set deep in a valley on the River Sauer and overlooked by castle ruins makes it very picturesque and well worth a visit. The day we were there the cafes were full of bikers who were out enjoying a ride, probably continuing on and riding around the huge manmade lake that is nearby.
