When we knew we were going to be housesitting in this area we searched for event happening in nearby local communities. This walk was part of a community arts festival and was entitled 20 Bridges of Peebles. We were the only non-locals there and it was funny listening to them at the beginning of the walk talking about how it was impossible for there to be so many bridges. However Jim our guide walked us through the town and outlying areas to discover the bridges. It was a lovely walk and along the way we learnt little titbits of information about the town.
